Making of Tortoise at home; UKG Class Activity

 For KG class students the activity is so simple which you can arrange at your house. In this situation of pandemic Covid-19 these activities which you will find in my blog will help you to  build up children's capabilities. So let us discuss today's activity which is going to be making of tortoise at your home using waste material. First of all what are the requirements for making of tortoise :

• We need coconut shell, waste plastic spoons, glue stick, small half plastic ball, colours and a thick sheet of cardboard or paper. 

So making of tortoise first of all we need to cut the coconut shell into  semi spherical shape. After cutting it  rub  this so that colours can be  painted on its outer portion.  First of all fix plastic spoons with the help of gum on a sheet of paper or cardboard as shown in photo 

 After fixing the plastic spoons in the shape of tortoise as feet shown in photo. We need to fix the coconut shell with the help of glue stick on these fixed plastic spoons which are acting as feet of tortoise. On these  plastic spoons feet of the tortoise fix the coconut shell over it as shown in photo:

 After fixing the coconut shell last step we need to place its head with the help of half plastic ball. Then paint it. Now you can draw the different textures of the tortoise with the help of different  colours. One of them is showing in this photo given below:

 So this is a small activity with the help of waste material which we throw in our houses. So using all these materials we can easily make  tortoise at home. Mothers can help their  children to make it in free time.  When you will indulge your children then they will enjoy it alot. Also they will come closer to one of the beautiful creation of the nature. Also enhance the quality colouring of the articles of your loved ones.
